The camera lies on the ground, inside grass, beneath branches and against stone.
The title is a sentence in Fossil Language, spoken by sand. It says that sand and trees are forming the same layer, and the camera is lying in it. The photographs are made with the same matchbox pinhole camera as Journey and Wilderness.
