Fossilised Roots

These are images of layers tied together. They began as text, through examining words that evoked structure and smell and faint colours. The sentence above generated the images through AI, and the result was printed using iron salts in the cyanotype process and botanically toned. None of these roots ever grew, but the oregano that toned them did.
