A rhythm passes through a grid of concrete boxes and reaches the ground as moving shadow.
Inside each box a metal sheet turns. The rotation follows a piece of music that is not included in the work. There is no sound. The rhythm survives as the interval at which light is interrupted, and what arrives on the tarmac is exact but not audible. The grid is seen slightly from above and does not move. Only the shadows change. The animation is rendered in black and white with the grain of analogue film, as if an image of something that never took place is documentation. Plays in an endless loop, so the music keeps neither its beginning nor its end. The music is entirely present and no longer sounds like anything.
