Attract-Repel
2017 · VR
In this world we are at first just eyes watching rocks rotating and colliding as they float in an endless sea.
It is seen through a VR headset. We have no body there. It runs until it is turned off.
The rocks’ centre of gravity is constantly shifting. When we start to move, we find that the rocks are drawn to us at a distance and pushed away when we come close. It is up to us how we interact with them.
Forest, five years later, puts us in a headset again, this time with no way to move.
