Atlas
Ongoing · Graphite on paper · 59 × 43 cm per sheet
A map series with no index, no legend, no scale, no description of what is being mapped.
Winding lines connect and diverge into a pattern. They continue over the edges of the sheets, and the atlas grows over time.
It is going against the purpose of a map, which is to explain and clarify connections. The only way this might work is by the viewer using association and imagination.
